HDR (High Dynamic Range), fusion of three different exposures of the same photograph to capture the details and textures of the darkest and brightest parts of the scene, in order to maintain the complete light spectrum of the captured space. The human eye is capable of perceiving wide luminosities in a scene, but a camera cannot, since by just using one exposure you sacrifice information either in the light or shadows, thereby affecting the quality of the image. This way, the HDR technique transcends the camera limitation to mimic the human eye capabilities.
